“Woofstock” Music Festival To Raise Funds for The Humane Association of Central New York.

Local musicians will gather together for a benefit concert for The Humane Association of Central New York. “Woofstock” is scheduled for Saturday, July 19 at Jamesville Beach Park from 2 to 8 pm. The day will feature live music from local bands, food, and family and pet friendly activities. Leashed dogs are welcome. Admission is a $5 donation per person at the gate. This event is made possible due to the major sponsorship provided by Sun Chevrolet and Auto Warehouse, and TK99 radio.

“We are very excited about this new event,” said Humane Association Director Christine McNeely. “Not only will it help generate much needed funds for the every day upkeep of our shelter, but we also intend to utilize monies raised to continue with our much needed upgrades and repairs from our recent pipe burst and subsequent flood. This is also a wonderful opportunity for us to continue to build a strong relationship with our supporters and our community.”

Sponsors, vendors and artists interested in participating may contact Pamela Levine at

That means there is no government funding to help support the Shelter. These animals are supported by the generosity of CNY animal lovers.
